BREAKING: Pajamas are now acceptable to wear in public.

Breaking?  Pshttt. We’ve already known this for years.

According to one fashion analyst’s prediction, 2017 will be the year of rolling out of bed and doing absolutely nothing. The “casualization” trend is spreading from tired college campus classrooms and lazy movie nights at home, making its way to everyday weekend wear. Think pajamas at brunch, meeting up with friends, and going to the bar (maybe).

Designers are catching on. But you don’t need to break the bank to participate. The pajamas, slippers, and robes you already own are good to go… out in.

It might be 2019 or 2020 until pajamas are fully accepted in the workplace, but we’ll be keeping an eye on the trend closely. Stay tuned for future reporting.
