FLING YOUR SPRINGS: 5 REASONS TO RECOIL FROM COIL MATTRESSES

Mattress showrooms have a dizzying amount of choices. Our team spent 3,240 hours testing every material on the market so you don’t have to.

Early in our research, the results showed that foam was superior to springs. We layered breathable, open-cell foam and memory foam to create a universally comfortable sleep surface.

Here’s why you should fling your springs for the outrageously comfortable Casper mattress:

1. FEEL SUPPORTED
When you lie down on springs, they push you back up. That force creates unwanted pressure points which can contribute to back pain. Coils just aren’t able to mold or conform to your body like sweet, sweet foam.

The Casper was engineered to keep you sleeping soundly all night. The responsive memory foam contours in all the right places, and the transition layer provides comfort in your deepest areas — like hips and shoulders.

2. IT’S THE MOTION
With an overly bouncy build, spring mattresses make it impossible to sneak out for a midnight snack without waking up your partner.

Keep your late night ice cream binge between you and your television. Foam reduces motion transfer, but still provides just enough bounce for some indoor sports. You know, if you decide you want some company watching reruns.

3. STAY STRONG
Springs can break down quickly with prolonged compression. Casper’s foams are super durable, and will last through years of good dreams. To measure our awesome durability, we turned to the ASTM F1566 rest. (We know ASTM F1566 sounds like a commercial airplane, but really it just means a 240-pound roller was pressed into the mattress and rolled back and forth 100,000 times to simulate 10 years of use.)

Bonus: We backed the Casper with a 10-year warranty to make sure you feel as confident about your mattress as we do.

4. SPRINGS ARE OUT(DATED)
Our foam combination was developed in 2014. Springs have been in mattresses since the 1850s. Sleep on the latest and greatest in sleep technology. You don’t still watch shows on a tube TV, right? We won’t judge.

5. SLEEP SQUEAK-FREE
Springs are notorious for squeaking. You don’t want to wake up in the middle of the night from the sound of your partner rolling over, do you? Your night should be noiseless after the lights go out.

Okay, there may be some snoring. We can’t promise foam will solve everything.
