As hibernation season quickly approaches, picking a new show is a top priority. What else are you going to do when it’s too cold to leave your bed?

Each month we look forward to the plethora of new movies and TV shows added to Netflix. Need help deciding what your big binge-watching commitment will be for October? Play and pause our Netflix Roulette below — where you land is what you’ll watch!

Casper’s Top October Picks for even more Netflix action:

Fixer Upper (The Binge-Watch Series): Fixer Upper premiered last year — and HGTV addicts have been raving ever since. Husband-and-wife duo and home improvement extraordinaires Chip and Joanna Gaines help clients buy, renovate, and decorate a home (all on a strict budget). Season 1 and 2 are now available. So, stop, drop, and binge.

Beasts of No Nation (The First Netflix Original Movie): Just as expected, Netflix’s first big original film Beasts of No Nation features a ton of notable talent — like True Detective director Cary Fukunaga and The Wire’s Idris Elba. It is the story of a ruthless commander of a West African rebel army and the child solider he recruits. Beasts of No Nation is expected to be a major contender in next year’s award season, so get watching.

Boogie Nights (The Classic): Boogie Nights is Paul Thomas Anderson’s look at the Southern California porn industry in the 1970s and 1980s. And it has everything: Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, inventive camerawork, and, yes, a killer 80’s soundtrack .

Million Dollar Baby (The Award Show Favorite): As a Clint Eastwood-directed film, you know you are in for something special. This famous sports drama is a tear-jerker (to say the least). Not to mention, it racked up four Academy awards, including Best Picture. And now, you can stream it. What a time to be alive.

Jane the Virgin (The Wildcard): So many CW shows, so little time. While the CW is known for its soapy roots, the network now boasts an impressive line-up. Jane the Virgin is a heartfelt play on the telenovela, featuring now Golden Globe-winner Gina Rodriguez. It was regarded as one of the best things on TV last year. And it’s one of the better additions to Netflix this month.

And most importantly, our Netflix Nosh of the Month: Because you haven’t had enough pumpkin spice flavored food, we recommend Blue Diamond’s Pumpkin Spice Almonds or (and) Pumpkin Spice M&Ms. Both are snacks that will keep any crumbs out of your covers.
