Kicking Off The Casper Nap Tour
By Alyse Borkan | Sep 14, 2015
After doing the final snoozeability tests of the Casper napmobile, we put the pedal to the metal and hit the road. Our first stop? One of the oldest cities in America and certainly one of the most spirited: Boston, Massachusetts.
On a tip from one of our nappers, we stopped at Tatte in Beacon Hill for a pastry and cold brew to get us out of bed in the morning. Everything looked breakfast-worthy, so naturally, we had one of everything.
Though it rained all weekend, Beantown residents came out in droves to experience the Casper mattress, get their complimentary pillowcase, and partake in an epic snooze session.
Immediately after opening, we were happily bombarded with games of twenty questions. Of course our favorite was: “Can I really get go in and nap it out?” Other visitors jumped right in. After all, they had traveled from New Hampshire and Rhode Island, to check out the bed.
No trip to Boston would be complete without trying some of the local delicacies. Our team did a taste test and agreed James Hook and Co brought there ZZZ game when it came to Lobster Rolls. Some other favorites? Union Square Donuts in the Boston Public Market for Maple Bacon Donuts, The Thinking Cup for more strong coffee, Row34 for fresh oysters, and Drink for a custom-made nightcap.
Even though the rain made it even harder to get out of bed, we had an incredibly successful weekend in Boston (and left stuffed from seafood). Thanks to all of our Boston nappers! We’re excited to drive the Napmobile to our next stop: NYC.
