Meet the Team: Jake Esformes, CX Specialist
Name: Jake Esformes
Position: Customer Experience Specialist
What I Do? I work on the Customer Experience team at Casper, which means I come to work every day to help customers and prospective customers alike. I handle everything from answering questions about our product, troubleshooting issues and people’s day. At Casper, we are always trying to go above and beyond for our customers. If you’re not 100% happy with your experience, it’s my duty to change that for the better.
One of the perks of being a CX’er is the opportunity to move and grow within the company. For instance in December, I will be going out to Venice Beach to work our pop-up shop for the entire month! I am very excited to get some more experience on the retail side of things as my times in our NYC showroom are near and dear to my heart. So if a well-rested pale blonde man zooms by you on the boardwalk riding a mini skateboard, don’t fret, I’m just getting into the California spirit.
Why I Love Casper? There are so many reasons I love Casper, but first of foremost, would have to be the people. Our company has attracted the best and brightest in every field, from our energetic retail team to our brilliant designers and diligent programmers. Casper has amassed a tight knit group of top-notch professionals geared toward making a stellar product and a streamlined user-experience.
Also, sleep! More specifically, prioritizing it. Joining Casper made me take a look at my sleep and all the things that revolve around it. Everything from redoing my bedroom to make it a more tranquil space to carving out unwind time, Casper pushed me to take a look at how my unconscious hours affect my waking ones.
Our mattress was created through an iterative process of design, and the same is true for our company. We are always looking for ways to do things smarter and more efficiently. I really appreciate that aspect of our company; it has inspired me to make positive changes in my personal life.
