After bringing naps to the city that never sleeps, the napmobile rolled on to Washington, D.C.

On the way down, we asked ourselves if we could get Washingtonians to take a break and recharge in the afternoon like New Yorkers. The answer, in the words of President Obama: Yes, we can.

We set up the napmobile right outside the bustling Eastern Market, but only after we had  brunched at Market Lunch. The team disagreed about which was better: the giant blueberry pancakes or the french toast. The jury is still out.

D.C. was having its first annual Landmark Music Festival, with huge artists such as Drake, The Strokes, Alt-J, Chvrches, Ben Howard, Miguel, and more. People were jamming to some great tunes, iced coffees in hand. When the afternoon hit, many festival goers were eager to find the perfect place to chill out, and ran to the napmobile in-between shows.

The weekend ended with The Nationals losing a tough game to the Phillies, 12-5. Coincidentally, this happens to be our next stop on the Nap Tour.
